Fish Production

Bor Dharan reservoir is very suitable for fish farming in cages. Maharashtra Fisheries Development Corporation is already doing the cage culture in 48 cages in the Bor Dharan Dam, so people are aware about the technology. MSD Aquaculture will grow freshwater fish varieties like Tilapia and Pangasius in 150 cages approx. Fish will grow till 700 – 1000 Gms/each. Which is the real market demand but not able to get in wild catch. Due to this a price for end product will also be attractive.

Bor Dharan Reservoir : is situated at Seloo Tehsil of Wardha District in Maharashtra. It is 65 Kms far from Nagpur City & 30 Kms far from Wardha City.
